TEDxUHasseltSalon - Communication Creates Change
Hasselt University was founded in 1973. All TEDxUHasselt team-members agree that we can’t ignore this 40th anniversary. The presence of Mr. Cooper, who invented the cell phone (also!) 40 years ago will receive an honorary doctorate, this further enhances the reason for a TEDxUHasseltSalon event.
With Mr. Cooper as a speaker on the salon event, we started to think on how much the communication has evolved in the last years and how great it would be to combine different ideas of young and old speakers on this theme. With this in mind, we chose ‘Communication Creates Change’ to be the overall catchphrase of the salon event.
