TEDxUHasselt Pitch Night

TEDxUHasselt has always combined international speakers with local talent. This year, we're taking it a step further by organizing a Pitch Night! A jury will select one or more speakers to talk at the TEDxUHasselt conference on March 29th. This could be you!

Unexpected Connections

From connecting mobile gaming with raising funds, to connecting the experience of food with the perception of pain. TEDxUHasselt 2014 speakers have one thing in common: they create breakthrough innovation by making unexpected connections. We invite you to share how you create innovation, big or small, by connecting disciplines or cultures.

Participation is open to everyone of the local community, including students, academics and entrepreneurs.

Pitch Night speakers have to adhere to the following rules:

  • At the Pitch Night, your presentation can last maximum 6 minutes. If selected by the jury, your talk at the conference can last anything between 6 and 18 minutes;
  • Presentation tools (Powerpoint, Keynote, Prezi, etc.) are allowed;
  • You have to present in English;
  • Selling on stage is not allowed.
