TEDxUHasselt is a unique conference organised by (PhD) students following the TED concept in which both local as international top speakers deliver powerful to-the-point keynotes about ideas worth spreading and innovating ideas to a diverse public. TEDxUHasselt is one of the oldest and biggest TEDx events in Belgium and is even presented as a leading example for university events on the official TED website. Already a dozen successful editions have taken place and the next is well on its way for this academic year.
Our aim this year is to present world-class speakers on our stage, in order for the audience to enrich their lives by gaining new experiences which they would otherwise never encounter. In addition to this, they can extensively develop their skills during the workshops and network with other TED enthusiasts, speakers and partners. As organisers we hope that the wide range of opportunities will leave a lasting impression on the attendees.
