It is with deep regret that we have to inform you that this year's TEDxUHasselt 2020 Hakuna Matata needs to be postponed, due to the rapid spread of COVID-19.
The Belgian authorities have advised canceling all large indoor events. In accordance with these measurements, Hasselt University decided to cancel TEDxUHasselt as well. We believe these actions are necessary for the well-being of everyone involved. We will reschedule for a later date which we, of course, announce as soon as a date is set. We'll keep you posted via our website and social media.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this decision. But no worries, we will soon meet. We already thank you for your interest in our event.
We provide the option to store your ticket request with motivation up to one year from now, that way you can claim tickets for the next edition faster in the priority queue. If you do agree to store the data, please let us know in an email to email@example.com. All other registrations will be deleted on 30 April 2020.
On the day of the event, you'll receive your namebadge at the entrance which contains a link to apply for a workshop. You'll also be able to buy coins for drinks & food at the entrance.

TEDxUHasselt is an independently organized TED event. A place where you learn about cutting-edge ideas and connect with interesting people.
TEDxUHasselt was founded in 2011 by three Hasselt University students and has remained a student-driven organization ever since.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
